Job Summary

Waste Connectionshas an immediate opening for aFront Load Driverat our Hauling site inAltamonte FL. The position will be responsible for driving a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.

Pay Range: $25/hr. DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
Utilize electronic route sheets to ensure timely and efficient waste collection.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and the community.
Perform a physically demanding job including lifting pushing and pulling heavy loads.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
2 years minimum commercial driving experience.
At least 2 years of stable work history with your most recent position being a CDL driver
Able to lift 50 pounds
Clean driving record for the last 5 years
Ability to operate a garbage truck safely and efficiently.
Bilingual in English and Spanishpreferred but not required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to perform a physically demanding job including lifting and loading waste.
