Director Microsoft CoE & Copilot

Microsoft CoE Director is the organizations leading authority on Microsoft 365 Azure Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot owning strategy adoption enablement governance and measurable business impact. This role blends executive influence with evangelism and platform stewardship. Accelerating secure Copilot AI-assisted productivity and data-informed decision making. Setting the vision and operating model for the CoE develop a multidisciplinary team (architecture platform engineering adoption/change governance). Closely partnering with IT Security & Compliance Data Management HR and Business Units to drive Copilot-first secure and cost-effective ways of working at scale.

Primary Job Role

IT Director at IFS plays a crucial role in ensuring the companys IT systems platforms and infrastructure supports its overall business goals and operates efficiently and securely.

Strategy & Leadership
Serve as executive evangelist for Microsoft Copilot and AI. Defining and maintaining IFS Microsoft 365 and Copilot AI CoE strategy operating model and roadmap. With a business value driven governance framework ensuring IFS success in adoption of new capabilities and opportunities.

Lead and coach a team of IT managers and IT professionals and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders building on IFS values working against goals and being clear on expectations.

Product & Platform Ownership
Ownership of Microsoft 365 Power Platform Copilot portfolio strategy including Copilot Studio. Maintaining a strong partnership with IT Security & Compliance and Data management teams ensuring safe data access for Copilot. Implementing strong guardrails protecting data and compliance against EU AI act. Delivering value add IT services within budget in line with service definitions and expectations.

Delivery & Innovation
Develop and lead companywide Copilot adoption program with playbooks and scenarios guiding business how to use and adopt Microsoft Copilot. Ensure the success of Microsoft Copilot Champions through community facilitation success story sharing and development of champions knowledge and competence.

Lead IFS experimentation with Microsoft Copilot Fabric and other related AI components. Driving IFS innovation in this area as at the same time maintaining a prioritized pipeline of capabilities optimizing value creation.

Security & Compliance Oversight

Ensure the secure configuration and usage of Microsoft 365 Power Platform and Azure environments in coordination with the IT Security team. Oversee Identity and Access Management (Entra ID/Azure AD) and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and other compliance controls. Align platform operations with regulatory requirements and internal security standards continuously monitoring and improving the organizations Microsoft security posture.

Licensing & Cost Management

Oversee Microsoft license utilization and costs across Microsoft 365 Power Platform and Azure to maximize value from our investments. Analyze license usage data and spending trends to identify optimization opportunities and eliminate waste developing action plans and reports for proactive license management. Partner with Procurement and Finance on licensing strategy and negotiations while owning internal analysis planning and reporting to ensure financial stewardship of Microsoft CoE area.

Qualifications :

Experience

• 10 years in enterprise Microsoft ecosystems
• 5 years leading platform or product portfolios
• Demonstrated executive evangelism and Copilot deployments

Technical Proficiency

• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 Entra ID Purview
• Copilot & AI: Prompt engineering plugins Copilot Studio orchestration
• Power Platform: Environment strategy DLP policies solution ALM
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing models and cost optimization strategies for Microsoft 365 Power Platform and Azure

Education & Certifications

• Bachelors/Masters in relevant field
