Job Summary of the Sr. Finance Business Partner
The Sr. Finance Business Partner will serve as a key liaison between the FP&A and BI team and the Marketing organization. This role will provide strategic financial guidance performance insights and analytical support to drive data-informed decisions across brand strategy campaign effectiveness and commercial planning.
Requirements of the Sr. Finance Business Partner
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A business analytics or strategic finance preferably supporting Marketing or Commercial functions.
- Strong proficiency in Excel financial modeling and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear actionable insights.
- Experience in life sciences medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Finance Business Partner
The specific duties of the Sr. Finance Business Partner include but are not limited to:
- Partner with Marketing leadership and FP&A and BI team to develop and manage budgets forecasts and long-range plans aligned with strategic objectives.
- Deliver actionable insights through financial modeling ROI analysis and performance dashboards for marketing initiatives.
- Partner with FP&A on monthly business reviews and variance analyses translating financial results into strategic recommendations.
- Prepares valuation models and monthly key performance indicators.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial Operations FP&A and BI Analysts to ensure alignment on KPIs and business drivers.
- Support product launches and market development strategies with scenario planning and investment analysis.
- Develop and maintain marketing spend tracking tools and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within financial and analytical workflows.
- Ad hoc reporting as needed.
