Responsibilities:
- Sell the proper repairs and/or services responsive to the customers perceived needs.
- Schedule service appointments. Obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
- Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
- Check on progress of repair throughout the day. Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time explain cost and time requirements in detail and get proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
- Review repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted. Close repair order as appropriate.
- Explain completed work and all charges to customers.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 years as a Service Consultant preferred.
- Possesses strong customer relations skills. Proficient at identifying and relating to the customer inquiry.
- Top CSI scores and customer satisfaction skills required
- Experience with dealership management systems
