About Fam (previously FamPay)
Fam is Indias first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new financially aware generation and drive 250 million youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.

On the Job
- Design and implement efficient data pipelines ETL processes ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Build the different components of Data Platform from scratch (Data Lakehouse Serving & Query infrastructure Event Streaming Platform etc).
- Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of data pipelines platforms and data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs for data pipelines and data models.
Must Haves
- in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Previous internship experience in a product-based company or startup
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good to Haves
- Proficiency in Python or GoLang.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling fundamentals.
- Demonstrated interest in Data Engineering through previous internship experience or personal projects.
- Experience with analytical databases data warehousing & data integration. Familiarity with ETL concepts and structured data formats such as CSV JSON Avro and Parquet.
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Contributions to open-source projects or GSoC
