JOB SUMMARY
Nutrition Counseling Graduate Student Coordinators are responsible for coordinating client intake scheduling and management for the Spring 2025 Nutrition Assessment and Education Program. This includes maintaining counseling spaces maintaining counseling materials and handouts creating advertisements and communicating with potential clients about eligibility and scheduling coordinating undergraduate and graduate student counselors. Graduate Student Coordinators are also responsible for ensuring that all client recommendations are approved by the Faculty Supervisor. Graduate Student Coordinators will also have the opportunity to see clients directly and may have opportunity to support additional program activities like group wellness challenges and cooking activities.
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong comprehension of nutrition principles and counseling techniques Ability to thoughtfully give and receive supervisor and peer feedback Strong interpersonal communication skills to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of students and staff Experience using a variety of social media platforms including Facebook Youtube and Instagram. Organizational and time management skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Comfort designing and producing client and promotional materials.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
Public speaking Participation in or connection to other campus organizations and communities Exemplary leadership and communication skills Experience in a nutrition counseling and education setting is desirable.
