Description

As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell you will be responsible for assembling and testing various components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production and delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor and youll work out of our Torrance CA location with an onsite work schedule.

In this role you will impact the manufacturing process and contribute to the overall success of our Integrated Supply Chain by ensuring the timely and accurate assembly of products.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform assembly and testing of components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints diagrams and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.




Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 2 years of experience in assembly or a related field.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.

WE VALUE

Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills.

PAY EQUITY

The annual base salary range for this position is $46800 ($22.50/Hr. ) -- $70200 ($33.75). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education and training key skills as well as market and business considerations.

FAA REQUIREMENTS

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test testing for Marijuana Cocaine Amphetamines (amphetamine methamphetamine MDMA MDA) Phencyclidine (PCP) and Opioids (codeine heroin morphine oxycodone oxymorphone hydrocodone hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees regular and temporary in safety-sensitive positions to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan
