LSA Tower Hamlets

A welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic LSA to join the team from January 2026. The appointed LSA will provide focused in-class support run targeted catch-up groups and help pupils access the curriculum. Working in Tower Hamlets the LSA will assist teachers by preparing resources supporting differentiated learning activities and delivering short intervention sessions. The LSA will support phonics reading and targeted numeracy work encourage independence and help maintain positive behaviour routines. Responsibilities

• Support whole-class learning by working with individuals and small groups as an LSA.

• Deliver targeted catch-up sessions and record outcomes to inform planning.

• Prepare and adapt resources to enable access to lessons across Tower Hamlets.

• Model learning strategies support routines and encourage pupil independence.

• Communicate progress to teachers and contribute to handovers and review meetings.

Person specification

• Experience working with children in school or an educational setting as an LSA.

• Calm organised and able to deliver small-group programmes and classroom assistance.

• Good communication skills and confidence liaising with teaching staff and parents in Tower Hamlets.

• Flexible and ready to start January 2026 attending induction before January 2026.
