Role: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Redbridge

Contract: Permanent / Part-Time or Full-Time (school dependent)
About the role
The LSA will work closely with class teachers in Redbridge to support children who need extra help with reading writing number and social skills. The LSA will deliver short evidence-informed interventions support classroom teaching by scaffolding tasks and promote pupil independence. The Redbridge school offers training so the LSA can develop professionally and extend their skill set.
Key responsibilities
Run daily small-group interventions and record progress for teacher review.
Support pupils within whole-class lessons by providing differentiated help and modelling strategies.
Assist with phonics reading practice and catch-up numeracy activities across Redbridge.
Help maintain classroom routines and support positive behaviour.
Prepare resources and contribute to meetings and handovers.
Person specification
Proven experience working in schools or with children in an educational role as an LSA.
Patient adaptable and confident delivering small-group programmes in Redbridge.
Strong organisational skills reliable and a good team player.
Available to start January 2026 and to attend induction before January 2026.
