We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal / Junior Attorney with hands-on experience supporting U.S. (especially New York State) litigation. The ideal candidate has strong English proficiency practical experience drafting court pleadings (complaints motions etc.) and the ability to navigate litigation workflows with accuracy and independence. This role is essential for ensuring that filings deadlines and case documentation are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and assist with preparing litigation documents including complaints motions and affidavits.
File pleadings through NYSCEF and manage court-related documentation.
Maintain case calendars track deadlines and ensure timely filings.
Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
Communicate with clients attorneys and third parties regarding case updates and required information.
Organize case files discovery materials and litigation correspondence.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in U.S. litigation ideally NYS litigation
Experience drafting litigation documents (motions complaints procedural filings)
Strong command of the English language (written and verbal)
Familiarity with NYSCEF or other U.S. electronic filing systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently manage deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure
Professional work ethic and commitment to client service
Preferred Qualifications
Paralegal Certificate or legal education (LLB/JD equivalent)
Experience in a boutique litigation firm
Familiarity with U.S. litigation procedures beyond NYS (Federal courts a plus)
