This leader will report directly to the CFO and oversee global tax planning compliance reporting and risk management while overseeing a specialized team of 5 tax professionals. The role offers meaningful executive visibility and the opportunity to help shape a scalable tax infrastructure for a rapidly expanding organization.
Role Highlights:
- Executive-level partnership with the CFO and senior leadership
- Lead the companys global tax function across compliance planning and controversy
- Build mentor and develop a growing tax team (45 direct reports)
- Drive tax strategy for a dynamic multi-entity environment with ongoing expansion
- Cross-functional exposure with Finance Legal Treasury FP&A and M&A
- Flexible hybrid work with purposeful travel to collaborate with leadership in key markets
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all U.S. and international tax compliance reporting and filings
- Lead tax planning strategies to optimize the companys effective tax rate while maintaining compliance
- Manage tax provision (ASC 740) forecasting and quarterly reporting processes
- Partner with the CFO on tax considerations for acquisitions integrations and restructuring
- Build and scale the internal tax team; establish controls KPIs and best-practice processes
- Oversee transfer pricing documentation intercompany policies and global tax governance
- Assess tax implications of new markets products and organizational initiatives
- Manage external advisors and oversee federal state and international audits
- Drive process improvements automation and system enhancements across the tax lifecycle
Qualifications:
- 12 years of progressive tax experience in corporate environments; mix of public accounting and industry preferred
- Strong technical knowledge across federal state and international tax
- Deep ASC 740 experience with a track record of leading tax provision and reporting
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams ideally in multi-entity or global environments
- CPA or JD/LLM strongly preferred
- Experience supporting M&A and advising on complex transactions
- Strong communication executive presence and ability to influence cross-functionally
