Job Summary

Summary:

The Farm Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining repairing rebuilding adjusting performing preventative maintenance and installing equipment throughout the farm facilities. This role ensures safe operation of machinery equipment and physical structures to support uninterrupted production and maintain operational safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support Allen Harim s vision mission and values.
Perform preventative maintenance on all farm equipment.
Clean lubricate and repair parts of farm machinery.
Complete repairs and maintenance of farm equipment machinery and tools in a timely manner.
Communicate with the Farm Manager regarding improvements and preventative maintenance tasks.
Coordinate scheduled repairs and maintenance with the Farm Manager.
Conduct inspections as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and assigned farm spaces according to the housekeeping plan.
Ensure efficient and safe operation at all times by communicating with supervisors.
Follow company policies Standard Operating Procedures housekeeping programs and written safety policies.
Keep accurate organized records of all maintenance and repair work.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED required; technical school degree or certification preferred.
Experience in the agricultural industry preferred.
Team player with attention to detail.
Basic math skills.
Strong reading writing and comprehension skills.
Basic computer skills.
Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred.
Mechanical troubleshooting and inventory management knowledge.
