- Position Objective
To establish implement and monitor the Environment Social & Governance (ESG) framework across all domestic and international projects of Ramky Infrastructure Limited. The ESG Expert will lead ESG data management reporting and compliance initiatives and support management in driving sustainability performance and disclosures aligned with international standards and investor expectations.
- Key Responsibilities
- A. ESG Strategy & Framework Development
- Develop and institutionalize an ESG Policy and Framework consistent with international benchmarks (UN SDGs GRI SASB IFC Performance Standards).
- Identify ESG priorities relevant to infrastructure and EPC projects and integrate them into business processes.
- Formulate ESG goals KPIs and roadmaps for short mid and long-term implementation.
- B. ESG Implementation at Project Level
- Guide project teams in incorporating ESG aspects during planning design execution and closure stages.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations safety norms and social safeguards across all sites.
- Conduct ESG due diligence and impact assessments for new projects and business expansions.
- C. Monitoring Data Management & Reporting
- Develop ESG data collection systems and dashboards for project and corporate monitoring.
- Compile and analyze ESG performance data across PAN-India and international projects.
- Prepare internal quarterly reports and external ESG/Sustainability Reports in line with GRI BRSR CDP and other global frameworks.
- Ensure timely submission of ESG disclosures to regulatory and investor stakeholders.
- D. Governance Compliance & Risk Management
- Identify ESG-related risks and maintain an ESG risk register.
- Coordinate with legal finance and project teams for ESG compliance with SEBI MoEF & CC and multilateral funding requirements.
- Support ISO 14001 ISO 45001 and sustainability audit processes.
- E. Capacity Building & Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct ESG awareness and capacity-building sessions for site and project personnel.
- Liaise with consultants auditors and clients for ESG verification and performance audits.
- Represent Ramky Infrastructure Limited in ESG related external forums and stakeholder meetings.

- Educational Qualification
Masters degree in environmental management / Sustainability / Social Development / Engineering with specialization in Environmental Sciences along with ESG training certifications. Additional certifications in ESG Sustainability Reporting (GRI SASB BRSR CDP) will be an advantage.
- Experience
Min. 15 years of experience in ESG Sustainability or EHS domain within Infrastructure EPC or Industrial sectors. Experience in ESG performance monitoring sustainability reporting and framework design. Exposure to international ESG compliance (IFC / ADB / World Bank) preferred.
- Competencies & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of ESG standards frameworks and sustainability indices.
- Strong analytical reporting and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in ESG management tools and data visualization dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking with ability to drive cross-functional implementation.
