Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished contractor with deep expertise in Databricks Spark Delta Lake streaming technologies (Kafka/EventHub/Kinesis) SQL and modern orchestration tools (Airflow/dbx/Workflows).
The role encompasses building optimizing and maintaining both batch and real-time data pipelines ensuring reliable production-grade transformations and low-latency application-ready datasets. Key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing robust batch and streaming pipelines to support real-time ingestion stateful processing feature generation and enrichment with exactly-once semantics.
Integrating and supporting machine learning feature pipelines and real-time signals for the NBA decision engine.
Monitoring troubleshooting and tuning pipelines for high reliability scalability and performance across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) while meeting strict SLAs.
Implementing comprehensive alerting job orchestration root-cause analysis and operational dashboards.
Delivering well-documented observable and independently managed pipelines dashboards runbooks and incident resolution processes.
Utilizing GenAI coding tools (Cursor Windsurf GitHub Copilot Databricks Assistant) to accelerate development diagnostics automation and documentation.
