Summary:
-
Assemble disassemble modify and repair aerospace systems and assemblies to correct failures or implement changes
-
Oversee assembly disassembly and overhaul of aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
-
Troubleshoot pneumatic hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components
-
Perform functional validation and verification testing of systems and components
-
Document procedures test results modifications and inspections to ensure compliance
-
Inspect components for cleanliness serviceability and flight-worthiness
-
Coordinate and ensure accuracy and completeness of assembly disassembly overhaul and modifications
-
Support MV-22 Modification & Maintenance Teams
-
Apply knowledge of V-22 aircraft maintenance Electrical/Avionics and Airframes systems
-
Follow general aircraft maintenance and environmental processes (e.g. FOD control tool control health & safety)
-
Resolve operational maintenance and overhaul issues independently or with minimal engineering assistance
-
Consult engineering or customers as needed for repair results
-
Identify and reconcile discrepancies with parts or processes
-
Provide training as needed
Requirements:

Ability to obtain secret clearance
-
High school diploma or GED
-
4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Experience with V-22 maintenance and modification
-
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
-
Quality Assurance experience
-
Extensive depot-level modification experience
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
