Our client is a technology services cooperation in Vietnam seeking experienced professionals to join their firm.
1. Strategic Direction
Lead the development of a comprehensive SME business roadmap that aligns with the banks long-term vision.
Identify emerging opportunities within the SME landscape and translate them into executable commercial initiatives.
Continuously evaluate market dynamics competitive movements and regulatory developments to refine strategic priorities.
2. SME Growth & Market Expansion
Drive sustainable portfolio growth by acquiring new SME clients and deepening engagement with existing customers.
Oversee the creation and enhancement of SME-focused offerings across lending liabilities trade solutions and digital services.
Partner with marketing teams to craft targeted campaigns that effectively reach and convert SME audiences.
3. People Leadership
Build and empower a high-performing SME banking team including relationship managers and product experts.
Set clear KPIs and ensure the team consistently delivers on revenue profitability and customer experience targets
Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
4. Credit & Portfolio Risk Oversight
Collaborate with risk management units to maintain sound credit assessment standards for SME financing.
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage credit quality to mitigate potential loan impairments.
5. External Partnerships & Representation
Serve as the banks key representative in engagements with government bodies industry groups and strategic partners related to the SME sector.
Promote the banks presence at relevant business events conferences and forums.
6. Operational & Digital Excellence
Streamline SME banking processes to improve service consistency and operational efficiency.
Champion the adoption of digital tools and platforms to elevate the customer journey and support scalable growth.
7. Governance & Compliance
Ensure SME banking activities fully adhere to applicable regulatory frameworks and internal governance standards.
Maintain disciplined reporting practices and robust internal controls across all SME operations.
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or an equivalent discipline.
At least 10 years of experience in financial services with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing SME banking or comparable portfolios.
Demonstrated success in driving commercial performance revenue expansion and profitability within the SME segment.
Demonstrated capability in guiding motivating and developing teams to deliver strong business outcomes.
Confident decision-maker with solid problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
Comprehensive understanding of the SME ecosystem including sector-specific financial needs risks and growth levers.
Well-versed in SME-oriented banking offerings such as working capital solutions trade services and cashflow management tools.
Strong financial analysis capabilities paired with strategic planning experience.
Proven ability to spot business opportunities and convert insights into executable initiatives.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain lasting relationships with SME clients.
Ability to diagnose client needs and design tailored financial solutions.
Solid grasp of credit risk principles and practices for SME segments.
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements relevant to SME banking.
Comfortable working with digital platforms and tools to enhance service delivery.
Up-to-date understanding of fintech developments and their practical application in SME financial services.
Ability to interpret business and portfolio data to inform decisions and track market shifts.
Skilled in negotiation and building influence with internal and external stakeholders.
