Certified Hand Therapist (OT) Full Time Days (Rotating Weekends)
Location: Miami FL
Join a leading 417-bed acute care facility and Level I Trauma Center offering comprehensive adult and pediatric trauma services a verified Burn Center and advanced stroke care. This dynamic west Miami-Dade medical center provides a full range of surgical womens/childrens behavioral health and GME programs in a collaborative high-acuity environment.
Position Highlights
Title: Certified Hand Therapist Occupational Therapist
Schedule: Full-Time Days MondayFriday (58-hour shifts; Rotating Weekends)
Compensation: $32.62$48.93 per hour $3/hr Shift Differential
Sign-On Bonus: Considered on a case-by-case basis
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans focused on hand therapy across inpatient and outpatient settings for patients of all ages.
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions as prescribed ensuring clinical accuracy and patient safety.
Coordinate and delegate responsibilities to support staff; ensure effective use of clinical resources.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives as well as infection control regulatory compliance and safety programs.
Maintain strong communication with patients families and interdisciplinary teams; support program development within a high-acuity trauma and burn environment.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy (Masters preferred).
Active Florida Occupational Therapy License.
12 years of experience as a Hand Therapist.
Current BLS Certification.
