An AutoCAD Designer creates detailed 2D/3D technical drawings blueprints and models using AutoCAD software for engineering architectural or mechanical projects collaborating with teams to meet specs ensuring accuracy and maintaining design documentation while adhering to industry standards and codes. Key tasks include translating concepts into precise drawings revising designs coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance requiring strong technical skills attention to detail and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings plans and models using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with engineers architects and project managers to understand project requirements.
Review sketches concepts and specifications to create accurate designs.
Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback and project changes.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards codes and client specifications.
Prepare and organize design files documentation and layouts.
Conduct site visits for data collection and measurements (if required).
Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D modeling).
Experience with related CAD software (Revit Civil 3D SolidWorks) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
