Responsibilities
Perform and oversee advanced MRI scans to ensure high-quality imaging.
Adapt MRI protocols and provide expert clinical guidance to staff and clinicians.
Lead supervise and train MRI radiography staff.
Maintain MRI safety standards protocols and quality assurance.
Manage daily workflow equipment issues and service improvements.
Support research audits and continuous professional development.
Deliver excellent patient care and clear communication throughout procedures.
Requirements
Diploma of the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic) or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography recognised by the Irish Institute of Radiography.
Minimum 6 years post-graduate radiography experience.
CORU registration.
Post-graduate MRI qualification plus at least 3 years post-qualification MRI experience.
Experience working within a radiography team.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Strong clinical and non-clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
High level of responsibility initiative and professionalism.
