Job Summary

As the Global Head of E-Commerce you will develop and implement TVHs global e-commerce vision strategy and roadmap in line with the companys overall business objectives. The Global Head of E-Commerce leads the transformation and scaling of TVHs digital commerce capabilities ensuring that the e-commerce function becomes a key growth engine and fully integrated part of TVHs business model.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Vision Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the long-term e-commerce vision and strategic direction ensuring alignment with TVHs mission business strategy and customer-centric approach.

  • Drive stakeholder alignment across global commercial IT product and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive implementation and adoption of the e-commerce strategy.

  • Act as the executive sponsor for e-commerce development ensuring visibility sponsorship and cross-functional commitment across the organization.

  • Stay ahead of market trends emerging technologies and best practices in digital commerce ensuring TVH becomes a leader in B2B e-commerce.

  • Contribute to the Commercial & Omnichannel ambitions by creating e-commerce experiences that combine the digital & human side by focussing on end to end omnichannel journeys.

E-Commerce & Digital Business Development

  • Lead the global e-commerce organization while setting up the regions for success by ensuring the different teams evolve in line with TVHs e-commerce maturity and the specific local business needs.

  • Develop the strategic roadmap for TVHs digital commerce platforms focussing on B2B mobile commerce and omnichannel integration.

  • Ensure strong commercialization of the e-commerce platform - driving online sales growth customer retention and profitability.

  • Integrate e-commerce capabilities into TVHs core business model ensuring seamless collaboration with Sales Marketing Product and Customer Service teams.

Customer & Technology Integration

  • Oversee customer integrations (EDI/API) ensuring robust and scalable solutions that enable automated and frictionless transactions.

  • Act as business owner for key digital enablers such as CMS (Aquia / headless architecture) PIM (Akeneo) DAM (Bynder) and analytics (Mixpanel)

  • Ensure effective collaboration with IT to maintain a high-performing secure and scalable technology stack supporting TVHs e-commerce ambitions.

E-Commerce Experience & Optimization

  • Lead key capability areas where TVH must excel:

    • Personalization Deliver tailored experiences and content using data and behavioral insights.

    • E-Commerce Merchandising Optimize product presentation pricing and promotions to drive sales through e-commerce.

    • Search & Navigation Build best-in-class search and discovery capabilities to enhance usability and customer satisfaction.

    • New Customer Acquisition - Develop and execute targeted programs across digital channels to attract high-value new customers and expand market reach.

    • Marketing Operations - Deliver scalable high-quality creative production localization and brand-consistent content to support all departments efficiently and transparently.

  • Drive continuous improvement through data analytics A/B testing and advanced digital KPIs to measure business performance and ROI.

Organizational Development & Governance

  • Define and evolve the e-commerce organization structure ensuring optimal efficiency clear accountabilities and cross-functional alignment.

  • Collaborate with the regional P&L leaders to set-up the right operating model between global & regional taken into account the maturity phases

  • Develop strong partnerships with global and regional leadership teams to ensure the e-commerce strategy is effectively embedded in local markets and drive sales through e-commerce.

  • Build coach and inspire high-performing teams with a focus on agility collaboration and innovation.

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Manage complex internal and external stakeholder networks balancing strategic influence with operational delivery.

  • Drive organizational change toward a more digital data-driven and customer-centric culture.

  • Serve as the voice of e-commerce within the executive leadership team representing the functions vision progress and impact.

How to Succeed

We are looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

Must-Haves

  • 10 years of leadership experience in digital commerce preferably within B2B or hybrid B2B environments.

  • Proven success in defining and executing e-commerce strategy at global scale including platform commercialization and business integration.

  • Strong experience with customer integrations (EDI/API)

  • Expertise in headless commerce architecture.

  • Solid knowledge of CDP/PIM/DAM/Analytics systems (e.g. Akeneo Bynder Mixpanel Aquia).

  • Demonstrated capability in organizational development leading teams of 50-80 FTEs across multiple disciplines and regions.

  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and financial acumen to manage business performance.

  • Natural leader and influencer with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Preferred

  • Experience in global industrial or distribution environments with complex customer and product structures.

  • Proven history of managing huge e-commerce product catalogs of over 1 million SKUs.

  • Track record in driving digital transformation and change management in large organizations.

  • Experience with building and transforming while running business as usual.
