Pay: HK$26908 to HK$37590 (HGPS Point 9 to 15) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform clerical duties following general instructions or prescribed procedures with minimal supervision. The typical duties include:
1. Compile statistics and conduct simple analysis.
2. Draft correspondence and handle enquiries.
3. Process verify and compile forms and data.
4. Communicate with clients/patients staff and public
5. Assist in co-ordination of meetings/programs.
6. Supervise junior clerical and support staff.
7. Operate telephone system paging system and alarm panels when necessary.
8. Perform patient registration and appointment booking
9. Station at the patient registration counter and mainly be responsible for day-to-day hospital fees and charges collection
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements :
1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B) Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent.
OR
(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ Attained in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent.
2. 3 years clerical experience with good knowledge of the functions and operations in one or more of the following areas:
(a) general administration
(b) filing and records keeping
(c) supplies and stores
(d) human resources
(e) finance accounting and statistics
(f) data input and analyses
(g) typing word processing and/ or Chinese word processing
(h) telephone operation client communication and reception service
Preferable Attributes/Exposure :
1. Knowledge of other common office automation (e.g. E-mail Internet/ Intranet etc.) and PC applications including MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese input method;
2. Knowledge of other dialects (e.g. Mandarin) in the light of individual job requirement.
3. Good interpersonal skill.
