Job Summary
Teacher Assistant - Literacy(LTA) -Dressel Elementary
- Monday-Friday 3.5hours/day; 17.5hours/week
- Part-time position Schedule to follow student calendar
- Hourly Rate:$22.81
- Substitute Certification Required; MissouriTeacher Certification Preferred
- Non-exempt

Summary: Works with classroom teacher (typically grades K-2) and leads small group reading instruction to support student learning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Typically grades K-2 works in classroom with small group on reading instruction (comprehension fluency decoding vocabulary)
- Communicate with the classroom teachers frequently to share data and observations
- Plan and restock shelves with the guided reading library books
- Other duties as assigned
