Job Title: Shipping Officer
Department: Distribution
Reports to: Sr. Distribution Manager
Location: Korangi Plant
Job Summary: Responsibility for managing as per Logistic requirement Compilation and management of shipping documentation Manage the supply chain design and qualification process including product specific.
Principal Duties:
- Dispatched all Institution consignment after confirmation of payment.
- Arrange to ship all customers orders within due time
- Coordinate transporters to arrange Truck/vehicle to dispatch stock timely.
- Maintain and complete records / filling on daily basis.
- Maintain shipping Marka register with all references.
- Monitor Abbotts Vehicles and keep maintain complete logbooks on daily basis.
- Arrange temperature data records.
- Checking all GTN / DAs of satellite depots after receiving from stores.
- Update institution & distributor shipment sheet on daily basis after dispatched & send to concerned.
- Manage other jobs and when assigned by Manager.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Understanding of shipping processes transportation coordination and supply chain design.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation regulatory requirements and record-keeping standards.
- Familiarity with stock dispatch procedures and institutional consignment handling.
- Awareness of temperature data recording and cold chain requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems for shipment tracking and reporting.
Experience and Education:
- 23 years of experience in logistics shipping or supply chain operations.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry logistics is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with transport coordination and documentation management.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or related field.
- Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain (e.g. CSCP CLTD) will be an advantage.
