The IT Security Architect is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining robust security solutions to protect the dormakaba IT infrastructure and data assets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of security frameworks emerging threats and advanced technologies. The IT Security Architect collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure that security measures align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and maintain the dormakaba IT security architecture and standards.
- Assess existing security measures and identify vulnerabilities recommending improvements as necessary.
- Design secure network cloud and system configurations ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulations.
- Lead the implementation of security solutions such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption technologies.
- Conduct IT risk assessments and security audits defining KPIs and preparing detailed reports.
- Provide expert guidance on security-related issues during the design and development of IT projects.
- Monitor emerging threats and trends adapting security strategies proactively.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve security incidents and ensure swift recovery.
- Deliver training and awareness programmes to promote a culture of security within the IT organisation.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM TOGAF CEH) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience (more than 5 years) in IT security architecture ideally within complex enterprise environments
- Excellent knowledge of security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST) network security DLP Zero Trust and cloud security principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
