The Position
Billanook College seeks to employ a Casual Flute Tutor to join our dynamic team of music educators. Ideally you should have the flexibility to teach both individual and group lessons with students drawn from across Primary and Secondary levels. The ability to teach Flute to VCE level and experience in teaching other wind instruments is desirable. You should have an ability to work with student instrumental ensembles and be able to collaborate with other music educators to co-ordinate and run class band sessions.
This position currently involves group tuition in the Year 7 Band this regard the applicant should be available to work on a Friday in the capacity of one day per week with the potential for growth.
The School
Billanook College is an independent co-educational Early Learning to Year 12 school situated in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The School has an enrolment of approx 1000 students supported by 160 staff.
