About The Role:
Gen3 is seeking a Data Security Architect to provide expert-level leadership in enterprise data protection classification tagging encryption data-flow analysis and policy development supporting IRS data and inventory tagging (DIT) expansion.
Location: Remote US
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data classification models sensitivity labels governance structures and access-control frameworks.
- Support policy development IRM updates data tagging rules data lineage mapping and DIT business process re-engineering.
- Identify analyze and mitigate Data-in-Motion Data-in-Use and Data-at-Rest risks.
- Support encryption optimization exfiltration monitoring and CIPEC incident reporting integration.
- Lead development of data flow diagrams data models and audit trail improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor of science or engineering in computer science and/or related fields.
- 10 years data security engineering data governance or data loss prevention/data inventory and tagging experience.
- At least one of the following certifications or similar: CISSP CompTIA Security Comp TIA Network ITIL CCNA CASP.
- Mastery of data classification labeling risk scoring Zero Trust Data Pillar and multi-cloud security.
- Expertise in regulatory and IRS-specific compliance environments preferred.
