Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Skills and Simulation Education for Pharmacy

Why this role matters
This newly created position will significantly contribute to the delivery of high-quality integrated clinical skills teaching at UNSW on pharmacy courses including the current Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Medicine / Master of Pharmacy program and potential future initiatives focussing on the extended scope of practice of pharmacists including prescribing. This includes opportunities to engage in the teaching or pharmacy students as they build competence towards modern scope of practice.
This role is within the School of Health Sciences but is part of a multidisciplinary Clinical Skills and Simulation team within the Faculty of Medicine and Health committed to preparing students for safe competent and person-centred clinical practice through expert knowledge and the utilisation of high-fidelity simulation equipment. This position has an active role in modelling best practice clinical technique fostering student engagement and ensuring educational activities are aligned with program requirements and clinical safety standards.
