Medical Technologist Full Time Nights (6:30 PM7:00 AM Rotating Weekends)
Location: Hudson FL

Join a well-established acute care facility committed to delivering accurate timely and high-quality laboratory services to the Hudson community. The Medical Technologist will perform stat and routine testing across Blood Bank Chemistry and Hematology while ensuring regulatory compliance and exercising strong independent clinical judgment.

Position Highlights

Role: Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist
Schedule: Full-Time Nights (6:30 PM7:00 AM Rotating Weekends)
Compensation: $27.09$37.92 per hour
Shift Differentials: $2.50 Night Shift $2.00 On-Call
Sign-On Bonus: $10000 (Night Shift)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Key Responsibilities

Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing with accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
Conduct quality control proficiency testing and routine equipment maintenance.
Process specimens manage pending logs verify and correlate results (including delta checks).
Troubleshoot basic instrument issues and escalate abnormalities when necessary.
Maintain thorough documentation and support ongoing compliance with CAP and other regulatory standards.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely communication of critical results.

Requirements

Associate degree required; Bachelors degree in Medical Technology preferred.
Active Florida Technologist License or eligibility to obtain during the hiring process.
Minimum of 3 years Medical Technologist experience required.
