Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Advocate for patient health and wellness
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Knowledge of current medical guidelines and practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
Beeper call 3-4 times per month
Diverse caseload including orthopedics GYN abdominal cases general vascular and kidney transplants
Limited skills in regional anesthesia and the ability to anesthetize older children are preferred
Must be able to perform cases independently
Will supervise trainees and CRNAs
Will participate in the departments academic activities
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
