Job Summary
We are looking for Senior Test Engineer to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial stable environment in multinational team (France Poland India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies that support pilots crew and airline in planning flights or various airport operations.
Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.
Responsibilities:
- Planning creating and executing test scenarios
- Analyzing product requirements and identifying potential defects and risks early
- Testing new functionalities and performing regression testing of existing modules
- Preparing and maintaining test documentation (test cases reports checklists)
- Collaborating with developers and product owners to clarify issues and refine requirements
- Reporting and tracking defects using dedicated tools (ZOHO)
- Verifying fixes and ensuring product quality before release
- Participating in quality improvement processes (e.g. code review for testability defect analysis)
- Assessing test coverage and identifying areas requiring additional verification
- Working with certification processes in compliance with aviation standards
Tech Stack on the project:
- Testing tools: ZOHO Excel
- Issue tracking: Excel
- Methodology: Agile/Scrum
Qualifications :
Must have requirements:
- Experience in software testing (manual automation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in test environments
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- EU citizenship
- Higher education (technical background preferred)
Nice to have requirements:
- Experience in aviation/transport or related projects
- Familiarity with additional testing tools beyond ZOHO/Excel
- Certifications (ISTQB or similar)
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Leadership or mentoring experience in QA teams

The recruitment process for this position consists of two stages:
a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)
Salary range:
UoP: 12 000 - 16 000 PLN gross/month
