Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Long Term Substitute to join our educational team in Oklahoma City United States. As a Long Term Substitute you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of instruction and ensuring a positive learning environment for our students during extended teacher absences.
- Implement lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher
- Maintain a well-managed classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning
- Assess and evaluate student progress providing feedback and grades as appropriate
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
- Communicate effectively with students parents and school administration
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance behavior and academic performance
- Participate in faculty meetings professional development activities and other school events as required
- Adhere to all school policies procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications :
- high school diploma; some college preferred
- Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels and subject areas
- Familiarity with current educational technology and instructional tools
- Knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional strategies
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for education and commitment to student success

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a Full-Time 10-month teaching position.
