Must apply on this site to be considered: The McKeesport Area School District is seeking qualified candidates for Long-Term Substitute Teaching positions across various grade levels and subject areas. Position Details: Location: McKeesport Area School District (Allegheny County PA) Assignment: Long-term substitute placements as needed throughout the district Compensation: Competitive daily rate Qualifications: Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (preferred) or Emergency Permit eligible Bachelors degree required Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred Strong communication collaboration and classroom management skills Commitment to supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of students Responsibilities: Provide high-quality instruction aligned with district curriculum Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment Implement lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet student needs Communicate effectively with students staff and families Fulfill all duties and responsibilities of a classroom teacher during the assignment
