As a Laundry Assistant youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincents Care Yennora.

St Vincents Care Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village) is a141-bedfacilitylocatedapproximately 29km from Sydneys CBD.

This is a Casual opportunity and applicant should have the availability to do AM/PM shifts through the week.

Things that work for us:

• Previous laundry and housekeeping work experience in a health care environment desirable

• Ability to perform cleaning duties promptly and efficiently ensuring the laundry process for residents is prompt and in accordance with laundry guidelines including m monitoring linen stock to meet needs

• The ability to perform cleaning duties in an efficient and timely manner

• Experience in identifying unserviceable or defect cleaning equipment

• An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

• Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within the last 6 months)

• NDIS clearance will be a requirement for this role.
