Responsibilities
Provides pastoral care services to patients and their families and hospital staff members throughout the hospital. Responsibilities involve conducting spiritual needs assessments and providing spiritual care services as appropriate. Responsibilities also include facilitating support group and other patient support services and developing and conducting education and training programs.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. Graduate of an approved program of theological education (. MATS Th.M. MPS etc.) or a Bachelors degree with at least 10 years of professional employment as a healthcare chaplain. 2. Four (4) units (minimum) of Clinical Pastoral Education from an Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Inc. (ACPE Inc.) accredited
PREFERRED:
8. Four (4) units (min.) of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) from an Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Inc. (ACPE Inc.) accredited
