Indiana ABA Institute is looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team remotely from San Francisco. We offer a competitive salary range of $65900 - $71500 annually along with a comprehensive benefits package to support your growth and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Support the annual budget process and financial forecasting
- Prepare and file tax documents as required
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with healthcare accounting is a plus
