The opportunity
As a CoE Lead within the Center of Expertise Credit Risk Modelling Data you will lead all CreditData related activities feeding into the banks global credit modelling landscape serving globalWholesale Bank countries various business lines as well as regulators and auditors. It includesasset and data ownership of the global applications including implementing requirements of keystakeholders on the demand side like Integrated Risk and Wholesale Banking. It will include bothbusiness demand as well as regulatory demand which is characterized by a high level of complexityand strict timelines to deliver.

COO Risk sits right at the heart of the Banks operations. We translate our rather complex bankingbusiness exposures into impact on risk weighted assets and provisions in line with the constantlychanging business desires and the latest regulatory requirements. We also provide importantinsights in NFR and Compliance topics and cater for corresponding regulatory reporting needs. COORisk delivers baseline and change activities for the Risk Organization with the purpose to driveour partners to maximize value in a safe & compliant environment. We play a critical role at INGand service all business lines CROs and COOs of the Bank. COO Risk is committed to take explicitownership of the end-to-end execution of regulatory transformation initiatives.
The Center of Expertise Credit Risk Modelling Data is responsible for delivering model-ready creditrisk data for INGs global WB Credit Risk modelling landscape. The CoE acts as a single point ofcontact for modelling data sets bringing together scoping Default and LGD data capabilities while
ensuring data is sourced processed delivered and governed in line with INGs regulatory andmodelling standards.A key focus is on data automation to ensure timely accurate and scalable preparation of data formodelling purposes reducing manual intervention and improving efficiency. This includes
implementing solutions that make data ready for immediate use in models and reporting. Additionally the CoE ensures full transparency and exposure to regulators meeting stringentcompliance requirements and facilitating regulatory reviews.


Roles and responsibilities
As a CoE lead we expect you to:
Provide clear leadership and direction Set strategic priorities align with CDO Risk and ECBexpectations and ensure timely delivery of integrated risk processes.
Drive project and program execution Deliver committed milestones manage dependencies andensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure operational compliance Maintain adherence to ING policies ECB guidelines and SREP/MISstandards while implementing efficient scalable solutions.
Manage stakeholders effectively Build strong relationships across domainscommunicateclearly and align with internal and external parties (e.g. regulators auditors).

Build and lead high-performing teams Attract develop and retain skilled professionals whilefostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader Anticipate challenges propose innovativesolutions and represent the domain internally and externally.
Champion automation and AI-driven solutions Promote the use of automation and advancedanalytics (including AI) to streamline data preparation improve accuracy and enable fastersmarter decision-making.

Required skills and experiences
University / Postgraduate (Masters degree).
General Experience: Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10 years to 15years)
Managerial Experience: Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set anddeliver objectives within medium to long time frames (Over 10 years to 15 years)
Builds Effective Teams / Customer Focus / Drives engagement / Drives Results / Ensuresaccountability / Strategic mindset / Stakeholder oriented
Experience with SAS and Python SQL is a plus
Dynamic programming
Good understanding of Credit Risk modelling concepts
Good understanding of Financial Risk management
Experience with data automation and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency andscalability.
Proven experience in interacting with regulators ensuring compliance and facilitatingregulatory reviews.
A personality and the capabilities to function effectively and independently even in complexhigh pressure situations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data and information intoactionable roadmaps and decision proposals
Excellent level of English
