Our client is the second largest bank in Germany with over 14000 branches in over 50 countries and an R&D center in Bulgaria. On their behalf we are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join their team in Sofia.
Responsibilities:
- Development testing and maintenance of Python applications;
- Taking an active part in design and architectural analyses and decisions;
- Mentoring young talents;
- Troubleshooting and code debugging;
- Developing and maintaining code and application documentation;
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices for the team;
- Optimizing existing databases reprogrammed to increase functionality;
- Deploying data security and protection solutions.
Requirements:
- Great programming skills in Python experience with popular Python frameworks;
- Good understanding of UNIX fundamentals standard command knowledge and scripting languages;
- Familiarity with system administration tools and processes;
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity Bitbucket Git;
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Fluency in English both written and spoken;
- University degree in IT or a relevant.
