Are you a motivated experienced Optician looking to join a thriving patient-focused practice This private optometry office has been serving the Bay Area for over 50 years and continues to grow! They are seeking a full-time Optician with a proven track record in optical sales to join their outstanding team in San Jose CA.

Job Description:

• Provide exceptional customer service and eyewear sales support to patients in a fast-paced multi-doctor practice
• Accurately quote and process VSP and Eyemed insurance (VSP and Eyemed experience is a must)
• Guide patients through frame and lens selection offering expert recommendations based on their needs and preferences
• Ensure precise fitting and adjustments of eyewear
• Maintain organized records and assist with inventory management
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver a seamless patient experience

Schedule:

• Full-time 4 days per week alternating schedule for weekend coverage

Office Hours:

• Mon-Fri 10 am7 pm Sat 9 am7 pm Sun 11 am6 pm

Compensation:

• $20$35 per hour depending on experience plus commissions

• A detail-oriented professional with relevant eye care experience (licensure not required).
• Strong knowledge of VSP and Eyemed insurance quoting and processing
