Job Description Summary
The ITR Specialist position at GEV Power Conversion & Storage based at the Chennai site presents an exciting opportunity for an aspirant for a commercial and fulfillment aspect of the Spares parts operations. The role involves successful completion of commercial offers for spare parts that can be replaced on equipment such as converters transformers and rotating machines. With the support of the engineering team they provide technical proposals directly to customers worldwide. Followed by facilitating transactions material management with supply chain warehouse and logistics team. A solid technical foundation in Power Conversion & Storage equipment as well as the ability to understand and address customer requirements is this position you will utilize your product knowledge to submit commercial offers customers subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. This Independent and proactive individual must serve as the voice of the customer within the organization. There is a step-by-step sequence of standard operational tasks to be followed while achieving business targets on daily deliverables.

- Drive KPI development
- Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity controllership and compliance
- Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors/Diploma Degree from accredited college / university in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 -3 years of relevant experience will be added advantage
- Interest/ basic knowledge on Industrial Drive systems PLC Systems Switchgears MV Motors or MV Generator etc.
- Proficiency in sales techniques
- Basic legal knowledge
- Writing Reading and Verbal English fluency highly essential to deal with global teams.
- Ability to read and technical specifications.
- Ability to translate and interpret BOM if required.
- Excellence in Customer Service with fair amount of commercial awareness
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
Desired Characteristics
- Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Prior experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems will be added advantage.
- Ability to read drawings and have familiarity with BOM structures will be added advantage.
- Aptitude with analytical tools (ex. Excel Access and PowerPoint); specific skills should include data mining pivot tables and data Manipulation.
- Experience in using Six Sigma/ Lean tools for continuous improvement with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High motivation leadership and influencing skills.
- Proactive self-starter and change agent & ability to work under stress environment.
- Strong interest in customer satisfaction
- Cross functional ability to work on matrix environment and international team experience.
