Company Overview
A manufacturing site is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working in a fast-paced food or FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns and ensure machinery is back up and running quickly
- Carry out planned maintenance across the production area
- Fault-find on both electrical and mechanical issues
- Work on equipment such as dicers weighers bagging machines fryers and conveyors
- Keep maintenance records up to date and maintain safe working practices at all times
Requirements
- Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Level 3 engineering qualification apprenticeship or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and start quickly
Shift Pattern
- Rotating early and late shifts Monday to Thursday
- Shorter Friday shifts
