Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day equipment maintenance which includes troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical systems and timely repair of those systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and solve problems associated with equipment downtime.
- Work with minimal supervision: you will need to be self-motivated dependable punctual organized and be in attendance for work duties.
- Submit work orders into our CMMS for each call with detailed information for reporting purposes.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with both maintenance and production employees while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Comply with company safety standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience working as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Excellent understanding of electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Analytical ability to proactively work through problems and implement solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven computer skills with Microsoft Products.
- Competent with CMMS or related systems.
- Power and hand tool knowledge.
- PIT experience.
- Welding experience a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet the demands of the position which will include mandated overtime as needed.
Physical Elements:
- Constant standing walking and sitting for extended periods of time.
- Frequent bending reaching kneeling and climbing.
- Frequent lifting carrying and/or pushing objects weighing 50 pounds or less.
- Occasional lifting carrying and/or pushing items greater than 50 pounds.
- Occasional climbing and crawling.
- Oral and written communication.
- Ability to see within normal parameters and hear within normal range.
Environmental Conditions:
This position exists in an indoor manufacturing facility. The work environment exposes the employee to fumes odors mists and dusts. Position is exposed to loud noises frequently. Accident hazards can involve heavy equipment falling on the employee severe cuts and bruises.
