Job Summary

Part time position 0.8FTE ongoing role

  • SCHADS Level 4
  • Location: Heidelberg/Thomastown

Your new role

  • Maintain strong local support actively promote the RAMP program and coordinate engagement strategies with key stakeholders young people and the community.
  • Recruit train screen and support volunteers; understand young peoples needs; coordinate mentor-mentee matching (30 matches) and facilitate activities/events to support matching and ongoing relationships.
  • Provide outreach and one-to-one support to up to 20 young people including goal development capacity building risk assessments safety plans and maintaining timely case notes.
  • Prepare program reports and coordinate collection of qualitative and quantitative data for evaluation and contractual requirements.

About you

  • You will have extensive experience working within the Community and Youth Sector.
  • Understand a young peoples interests and needs from a mentoring program.
  • You will understand the Out of Home Care System and will recognise trauma as a common experience for young people in out of home care.
  • Demonstrated capability to network and build productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
