To be successful in this role you will:

• Design develop and implement custom software solutions using Appians platform - including everything from modeling database schema to building out user flows to creating UI mockups.

• Deliver projects independently or with a small team depending on the complexity and scope of the project.

• Research develop and implement (with your team) new tools to speed up and simplify application development.

• Ensure all documentation training and tooling you develop is maintained easily accessible and globally reusable.

• Triage and troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support to various business applications.

Basic qualifications:

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Mathematics or related field/degree

• 5 years of experience with hands-on Appian development

• History of success on cross-functional teams; experience building products using agile methodologies (pair programming stand-ups planning sessions and sprints)

• Knowledge on leveraging APIs database design/data modeling SQL skills (writing queries joins views etc)

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of software testing practices; integrations experience using APIs such as REST and SOAP JDBC connections and web services; familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Analytics Machine Learning Google Cloud
