Position Purpose: The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing designated wholesale accounts. This role emphasizes building long-term partnerships achieving sales goals and supporting merchandising strategies. The AE acts as a strategic advisor using data and market insights to grow the business while maintaining alignment with the L. brand. Through a deep understanding of partner needs and L. product line will help guide the assortment ordering and in-season reaction processes. They will collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients ensuring high levels of service and continuous improvement. The AE works under the guidance of a Senior or Account Manager.
Account Management & Strategic Partnerships
- Serve as primary Account Executive for L. wholesale accounts building strong long-term client relationships.
- Strategically partner with accounts to drive revenue manage in-season performance and negotiate end-of-season markdowns.
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as liaison between clients and internal teams (merchandising finance logistics etc.).
- Lead account meetings including strategy sessions sell-ins and contract negotiations.
Sales Strategy & Performance Analysis
- Drive sales to meet or exceed volume targets through curated assortments marketing plans and operational initiatives.
- Analyze weekly sales profitability and stock data to optimize full-price sales and identify growth opportunities.
- Forecast monthly revenue and reproject sales based on trends; contribute to P&L planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing Finance Inventory and Logistics to align on business goals.
- Attend product development and merchandising meetings as a category expert.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align on seasonal strategies ensuring product development inventory planning and marketing initiatives are synchronized to meet account goals.
Operational Excellence & Reporting
- Ensure timely order writing and on-time inventory delivery; manage promotions markdowns and product exits.
- Deliver reports and presentations; contribute to corporate communications and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain brand standards across all channels and ensure visual merchandising aligns with company expectations.
