Job Title: Staff Accountant

Compensation: $66.3-80k

We are currently looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join our growing fast paced accounting team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented adaptable and be able to multi-task. Looking for an ambitious self-starter with great interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

General Ledger reconciliations and expense analysis
Bank Reconciliations
Journal Entry Preparation
Participate in month end closings
Royalty reporting
Commission analysis
Customer and product line profitability studies
Assist in audit work and support
Assist month-end accruals and prepaid schedules
Inventory analysis for slow moving product as well as monthly warehouse discrepancy follow-up
Monthly Cutoff analysis to ensure proper period reporting
Prepare Ad-hoc and value-added analyses as required

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA a plus but not required)
1-3 years Accounting experience in private industry /public accounting-consumer products a plus
Prior experience working with Importers and multiple brands/companies a plus
Proficient in Excel
Experience with financial (Peachtree/Quickbooks/Lawson a plus) and ERP Systems (Infor a plus)
Ability to work with all levels of management and personnel
Strong written and oral communication and organizational skillstion
