The Learning Technology Specialist plays a key role in supporting the design implementation and continuous improvement of digital learning solutions across the organization. This role ensures the smooth operation configuration and optimization of our Learning Management System and related platforms enabling efficient delivery tracking and reporting of learning programs. Blending technical expertise with a learner-focused mindset the Learning Technology Specialist collaborates closely with instructional designers facilitators and subject matter experts to develop seamless engaging digital learning experiences that enhance performance and drive business results.

Your Mission

  • LMS Administration and System Configuration: Oversee day-to-day administration of the LMS (UKG ProLearn) including user setup content uploads (SCORM xAPI) and configuration of system settings to support organizational needs.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide timely resolution of user issues and technical problems ensuring high system uptime and data accuracy.
  • Compliance and Audit Readiness: Collaborate with Compliance IT and other teams to ensure training records meet regulatory standards; support internal and external audits with accurate data and reporting.
  • Training Records and Content Management: Maintain training documentation control versions of training materials and track training completion and performance (pass/fail).
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Develop dashboards and reports to track learning metrics and training compliance; analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Training Assignment Management: Maintain and review the training assignment matrix biannually to ensure alignment with role requirements and compliance needs.
  • Stakeholder Training and Communication: Deliver training sessions and documentation to internal stakeholders on LMS functionality processes and best practices.
  • Process Improvement and Change Management: Identify and implement process enhancements manage LMS-related change control requests and seek opportunities to improve the user experience.
  • Governance and Documentation: Create maintain and update SOPs and procedural documents related to LMS operations and usage.
  • System Optimization and Innovation: Stay informed on LMS capabilities system updates and integration opportunities to enhance learning delivery and user experience.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Education:
    • Post-Secondary diploma or degree
  • Experience:
    • Two (2) years experience in Training & Development o Experience with Learning Management System(s)
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies preferred
  • Skills:
    • Able to work collaboratively with multiple teams and independently o Strong written and verbal communication skills o Ability to lead projects and initiatives. Project management skills are an asset o Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
    • Proficient in 0ffice 365 Microsoft Suite
    • Purposeful and process-driven with Impeccable attention to detail
    • English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation: At BioScript your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role level and geographic location.
