The Opportunity & Role Profile
This thriving independent school requires a skilled and enthusiastic Performing Arts Technician to support its Drama and Music curriculum and extensive production schedule. The role involves managing the technical aspects of the schools high-specification performance spaces.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Technical Lead: Setting up operating and maintaining all theatrical lighting sound systems and staging for school productions and events.
- Equipment Specialist: Managing the inventory of musical instruments and all technical equipment ensuring items are safe functional and organized.
- Creative Support: Assisting teaching staff and students in using technical equipment safely and effectively during lessons and rehearsals.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Proven technical skills in sound/lighting operation and maintenance and experience in a performance venue or high-end educational setting.
- Salary: Highly competitive salary compensated on the schools independent pay scale (expected to be 28000 - 35000 per annum).
