What Were Looking For

We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated and curious individual who wants to contribute to the research and implementation of a novel portfolio construction framework based on ordinal (ranking) information rather than point forecasts of returns and to test its impact on real-world systematic strategies.

Location & Duration

Modena Italy
6-month internship program

What Youll Be Doing

Study and summarize the methodology and related literature
Designing and implementing advanced mathematical optimization algorithms
Implement the core algorithm in Python
Backtest it working with real Axyon data pipelines
Document results and present findings

What You Need

Background in mathematics/physics/computer science with strong knowledge and previous exposure to mathematical optimization. (students in the final years of their degree are welcome)
Programming skills (preferably Python)
Strong problem-solving skills curiosity and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
