Job Summary

Role Overview:

The Utility Maintenance role is responsible for ensuring the smooth safe and efficient operation of all utility systems within the plant. This includes maintaining equipment such as boilers chillers cooling towers air compressors RO/DM plants HVAC systems and other utility infrastructure critical to manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of all utility equipment (boilers chillers compressors cooling towers RO/DM plant air dryers pumps etc.).
Monitor daily operations and parameters of utility systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and instrumentation issues in utility equipment.
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities logs and checklists.
Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and support smooth operations.
Maintain compliance with safety standards GMP guidelines and statutory requirements.
Assist in installation commissioning and calibration of new utility equipment.
Ensure efficient energy usage and support energy conservation initiatives.
Work with external vendors for periodic servicing and inspections.
