Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Network Design Engineer

Location: Suffolk VA (5 days onsite)

Duration: Contract to Hire W2

Clearance: Secret (TS/SCI preferred)

Required Skills/Education:

Certifications:

IAT-III (e.g. CISSP CASP or equivalent).

Experience:

10 years of proven experience working with commercial ISPs and integrating connectivity into datacenter environments.

Deep expertise in BGP MPLS and enterprise routing protocols.

Hands-on experience with Juniper platforms (Cisco experience highly desirable).

Demonstrated success in configuring and supporting VPN solutions including site-to-site and IPsec tunnels.

Strong knowledge of WAN link management and performance optimisation.

Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and supporting team growth.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
